District town in the valley of the river Vltava, Historic Town Reserve on the UNESCO List of the World Heritage Sites, with a unique set of Gothic, Rennaisance and baroque buildings. Founded in the first half of the 13rd century, together with the Castle. Krumlov Castle is the largest in the Czech Lands after Prague Castle. The large complex of buildings dating from the 13rd to 15th century has highly valuable furnishings. The present chateau is linked to the building of the theatre by a multi-storey bridge. The summe theatre in the chateau perk has a revolving stage.
